How to compare snapshots across Patch 9.2
Record the game version, analyzer version, mapping version, reserve, and snapshot time. A changed model, rack, or displayed difficulty is not enough to label an animal as newly born or removed.
When a stable record remains present across both snapshots, describe changed attributes separately. Reserve “new” and “missing” labels for actual record differences supported by the comparison.

Fur data is not the same as model appearance
The Hotfix 9.2.1 notes correct Old Scar's taxidermized appearance. The official Known Issues list still records visual problems for some Peru species in the Harvest Screen and missing eyes on some Great One Jaguar trophies.
A screenshot can document a visual bug, but fur classification should be checked against the saved value, species, sex availability, source record, and mapping version.
What the analyzer can and cannot conclude
The analyzer can report supported local records, differences between snapshots, and versioned trophy or fur rules. It cannot prove why the game created or removed an animal, repair an in-game model, or turn an estimate into a guaranteed medal.
