Profile, Dog, and Career Data
Profile, Dog, and Career Data
Back to documentation contents
This chapter is part of our “the hunter call of the wild cheats” guide. The tool provides read-only save analysis and does not offer cheats or modify game data.
Feature Objective
View the following data from the current save:
- Profile level, experience, cash, and ability data;
- Dog level, breed, role, and traits;
- Weapon proficiency and career statistics;
- Hunter career, missions, codex, and exploration progress;
- Last active coordinates in each reserve.
1. Open the Profile Page
- Confirm that the save path at the top left is correct.
- Click Profile at the top.
- Wait for the profile, dog, weapon, and exploration modules to appear.
The Profile page aggregates data from several local save files. If one source file does not exist, its module may be empty while the other modules remain available.
2. View the Profile Overview
The profile card at the top usually shows:
- Current level;
- Current experience and level progress;
- Available cash;
- Skill or perk points;
- Summaries of owned or unlocked content;
- An entry point for technical details.
Procedure
- Inspect the circular level indicator.
- Inspect the experience bar and information required for the next level.
- Verify the cash on the right.
- Read the summary values in the ability ledger.
- Expand Technical Details to inspect raw or low-level fields.
Owned and Unlocked
- Owned Equipment: equipment actually held in the current save;
- Unlocked Equipment: equipment whose unlock requirements have been met and that can be purchased or used.
The unlocked count may be greater than the owned count. They use different statistical definitions.
3. View Hunter Career Statistics
In Hunter Career Statistics, inspect the data that can be parsed for:
- Number of harvests;
- Hit or shooting statistics;
- Data related to spooking, spotting, or tracking;
- Game progress and activity summaries.
Recommendations
- Refresh the save before inspecting the latest values.
- Hover over a statistic card to read its detailed explanation.
- If it differs from the game interface, confirm that both are using data from the same save.
In-game statistics may be distributed across several files. The app shows only fields that the current version can parse reliably.
4. View Dog Information
The dog card may show:
- Dog name;
- Level and experience;
- Breed;
- Current role;
- Traits;
- Other states that can be parsed.
Procedure
- Find the dog card.
- Verify its name and level.
- Inspect the breed, role, and trait labels.
- Hover over an unmapped item to inspect its raw hash.
- If you just changed dogs or gained a level in the game, wait for a save and click Refresh Now.
Unmapped States
“Unmapped Breed,” “Unmapped Role,” or a raw hash means that the save field exists but the current mapping package has no name for it. It does not mean that the dog data is corrupted.
5. View Weapon Proficiency
The Weapon Proficiency module usually displays these categories:
- Rifles;
- Handguns;
- Shotguns;
- Bows.
Procedure
- Inspect the weapon summary metrics at the top.
- Compare the proficiency bars for each category.
- Expand Weapon Career Statistics.
- Inspect available data such as recent use, hits, kills, or records.
- Hover over an entry to read its detailed value.
Fields saved by different weapon categories or game versions may not be completely consistent.
6. View Exploration Progress
The Exploration Progress module aggregates:
- Missions;
- Codex entries;
- Map icons;
- Collectibles;
- Reserve-discovery progress.
View Reserve Exploration
- Expand Reserve Exploration.
- Find the target reserve.
- Inspect the discovered and total counts.
- Compare completion across reserves.
Fixed map landmarks and their “discovered” state in the save are two separate data sets. A public landmark appearing on the map does not mean that it has been discovered in Exploration Progress.
7. View Last Active Coordinates
Last Active Coordinates shows the profile's last saved position in each reserve.
- Find the target reserve.
- Inspect its X and Z coordinates.
- Hover over the entry to read the more complete X/Y/Z coordinates.
- Return to the Map page and select the same reserve.
- On the Need Zones layer, inspect the line between the profile position and an associated area.
Last active coordinates are the position written when the save was created. They are not a real-time location continuously tracked by the desktop app.
8. Profile Data Has Not Updated
Troubleshoot in this order:
- Wait for autosave to finish in the game.
- Return to the desktop app and click Refresh Now.
- Verify the save path at the top left.
- Check whether the game time at the top has changed.
- Reopen the Profile page.
- If it is still unchanged, exit the game and refresh once more.
9. Profile Modules Are Empty or Show Raw Values
| Symptom | Possible cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Dog card is empty | The current save has no dog, or its file is missing | Confirm that a dog has been created in the game and save |
| Equipment name is unmapped | The current mapping package lacks the hash | Update the mapping; the raw data remains available |
| A statistic is 0 | The game has not generated that record or the field is not covered | Refresh after the game saves |
| Reserve Exploration is empty | The corresponding progress file is missing | Confirm that the save is complete |
| Target reserve is absent from coordinates | The profile has not left a valid saved position in that reserve | Enter the reserve and save |
